The Savage Hippie Video Podcast Episode 17: Tribute to Adam Parfrey

In this special episode, Ann, Edwin, and David pay tribute to legendary independent publisher and free speech advocate Adam Parfrey, who passed away on May 10th. In a roundabout way, Adam is the reason this show exists. Joining the usual threesome is a very special guest from Down Under — Richard Wolstencroft, founder and CEO of the Melbourne Underground Film Festival.

Book Review: Republican Party Animal (guest post from Karl Ushanka)

Special guest post by Karl Ushanka

Book Review: Republican Party Animal, by David Cole, 2014, 319 pages.

Short Review:

Republican Party Animal is a fantastic and entertaining story about a man whose strengths of work-ethic, principles and objectivity were betrayed by his effectiveness and his piss-poor judgement in women.  Do not be fooled by the title, politics rarely makes an appearance in this book.  It is David Cole telling his very personal, and sometimes terrifying story of emotional and professional ups and downs.  I highly recommend this book.

Long Review – Preface:

I am a retired blogger, so I had to find another site to share this review.  I don’t have any obligation to write a review, which I hope you will see as an added endorsement for this book.

Further, because Holocaust revisionism is a topic within this very personal story, I chose to post this review on the Savage Hippie Podcast blog, which the author is a member.  I am blind and indifferent to the “Jew” issue and to the Nazi side of the second world war.  A solid C student in high school, I memorized only the material I had to to graduate. And the only information on the topic of WWII I needed to know was that six million Jews were killed by the Nazis.  Having read Republican Party Animal, I am more aware that many have strong feelings on the topic of this particular religion and history.  So I’d hate to ask another blogger to publish my review, only to find out they had an ulterior motive for doing so.

Also, part of my appreciation for the Republican Party Animal story is that I found many parallels with my life.  I lived in the Los Angeles area during the same time as this story.  I am sympathetic to the author’s women troubles as I discovered, after moving to LA from the mid-west at age 19, that California women carry more than their share of problems. I too have been blacklisted in my career for objective academic work. I too think my approach to politics is like the author’s – more of a common-sense journey rather than partisan score-keeping.  And last, I’ve experienced what peer-pressure, intimidation and groupthink can do to groups and individuals with similar beliefs and backgrounds.  Cole’s story was a powerful re-play for me, and it is a good warning to others.

David Cole should have had a champion.  Perhaps Dr. Carlos Huerta, an Army veteran, fellow Jew and Holocaust researcher Cole mentions early in the book.  Huerta reminds me of many people I served with in the Army: fair, honest, and not threatened by differing opinions.

Cole set out at a young age to research an important historic event, and he found some information that did not fit the narrative.  He followed that information to compelling evidence, as any honest researcher would do.  He did everything right, but the topic was the Holocaust, and any information that does not fit the narrative is taboo.  Had he had a mentor and a champion to help him appreciate his audience, help him navigate the waters, and defend his work, his story would be much different.

He shelved his research when he received his first death threat.  But that wasn’t enough.  He had to change his identity in order to move onto his second life – that of a GOP mover and shaker in enemy territory – Hollywood California.

It is fascinating how the author moved up through the ranks of the Friends of Abe group of Hollywood conservatives as he did earlier with his Holocaust research.  He did it in Hollywood with old-fashioned hard work, using his organizational and event-managements skills to help mold the group into a nationally recognized GOP oasis in California.  He understood the vision of the Abe leaders, and he worked in that direction.  Remove the politics from this story, and it reads like a simple roadmap for success.

The author was known as a man who “could get things done.”  This is the absolute best compliment for anyone who has ever had to accomplish things through people who had various, and sometimes conflicting, agendas and motivations.

Republican Party Animal offers an honest and candid review of Cole’s decisions.  And not all of them were good.  He had several dysfunctional relationships with women. The last gal mentioned ruined his incredible run in Hollywood.  But that betrayal was just the first of many as it caused a split between the author and hundreds of his Hollywood friends and GOP contacts.

He was betrayed by people who would profess to be loyal.  They were anything but, and that angered this reader.  This mass betrayal, this peer-pressure cliquish petty groupthink among like-minded friends was as disgusting as it was swift.  You’ll read about how, in just hours, the author’s entire network of friends and industry professionals evaporated.

Last, I experienced a Forrest Gump-like feeling from this book.  If you’ve heard Mr. Cole speak in the Savage Hippie Podcast or elsewhere, you’ll know he is a story-teller.  He has plenty of stories and a knack for telling them.  He and I are close in age, and during the period of this book he and I were both in Los Angeles.  His chronological story referenced many local, national and international events that I was familiar with, and I enjoyed the story even more with the shared nostalgia.  And I even picked up on the many movie references.

The author seems to be in limbo now, with a few too many empty bottles to show for it.  He was a winner in the two challenges he faced, and I’d like to think he is just resting for a third run to greatness.

I have added Republican Party Animal to my lengthy book list at my blog.

Karl is retired from blogging at, where he ‘tracked communist activities globally, and communist inspirations nationally’ for over ten years.  He recently published Trade the Ratio, a book about precious metals investing.  He is currently working on his next book – about another betrayal within the Republican Party.

SavageHippie Episode 25 – Attack of the Overweight Cambodian Nympho

CLARIFICATION ABOUT THE CONTEST: David Cole and Ann Sterzinger will send ONE copy each of their books, NVSQVAM (nowhere) and Republican Party Animal un-respectively, and I will send you a copy of the first Atomic Rooster album on CD (no joke, I really have an extra copy of it), to the three people who send us the best, most original insults.

I write this “copy” from behind bars since I’ve been sentenced to a whole week in Facebook jail for something I posted on my OWN wall MONTHS ago.  For some reason, some loser, for whom euthanasia is the only solution to his miserable life – Nick the skinhead, maybe? – decided to report me to the Facebook police.

Interestingly David Cole was also put in Facebook time out shortly after, though his stay in FB jail was merely two days since this was his first offense.  What did David do?  He quoted Michael Richards’ n-bomb filled rant at the Laugh Factory from more than a decade ago.  Now, typically, I’d side WITH David over this matter, since he was thrown in time out just for quoting someone, which, as you probably agree is retarrrr… totally dumb.

HOWEVER David Cole is, without question, the biggest hypocrite on the planet.  Upon his being released from FB jail, he explained what happened, and in his explanation, he said, “we all bleed red and piss yellow.”  If you recall in the episode of the Savage Hippie podcast where we interview Jim Goad, I said THE VERY SAME THING (well, just the “we all bleed red” part), and both he and Jim Goad mercilessly chided and belittled me for it.  I believe it was Goad who said, “okay, Shylock” and David who said something equally disparaging.

And you know what?  I actually found Richards’ rant to be pretty funny!  I mean, it wasn’t clever in any way, but watching Kramer go ape shit and start yelling racial slurs is definitely more awkwardly amusing than 99% of stand up comedy.  Oh, I’m sorry, you prefer the generic, everyday dad ranting of Louis CK?  That’s what your easily amused ass finds funny?

Ann Sterzinger doesn’t participate in this episode, but what’s REALLY interesting (not really) is that David TOO has had unpleasant sexual experiences with obese women.  The more David thinks we have nothing in common, we keep having MORE things in common!  I mean, for starters, we’re both Jews that people mistakenly think are white nationalists.  But still, fuck you, David.  We don’t all bleed red; you bleed black, hateful ooze, and you owe me $30.

Oh, in other news, David clears up the mystery about serial killer Thomas “Zoo Man” Huskey and seals his death warrant by mocking his son.  Then, in the second half, after belittling fat women, David and I go into some in depth realpolitalk (clever, ain’t I?) about the Nazi and Communist regimes during those regimes’ heydays and then answer some fan questions about self hating Jews and concentration camps or some shit.

Because there was no band for this episode’s Sounds of Marshabaloosh, I created the “Ultra-Hyper Non-Racist Megamix” for your enjoyment.

The song at the end is “The Diet Has Failed” by the Yesticles, and the lovely Vittoria Brooke Shaw did the deliberately hideous artwork.

SavageHippie Episode 24 – Righteous Eugenics And Forced Miscegenation

Although we already get millions of listeners, in order to get a few million more, the Savage Hippie podcast is having its first contest.  That’s right; because we appreciate our listeners so much and aren’t just trying to bribe people to listen to us, Ann Sterzinger and David Cole are both giving away one copy each (generous, ain’t they?) of their books.  I don’t mean books that they just pulled off their book shelves; I’m talking books that THEY WROTE THEMSELVES by toiling for hours, tapping away on keys and creating sentences with words and punctuation marks!

Ann’s book is NVSQVAM (nowhere), a book that’s so damn commercial that she gave it a Latin name nobody can pronounce.  It’s also really depressing, so if you’re all about the lost dreams and pathos, and you want another reason to hate women, this one is for you!  In fact I review it here!  David’s book, Republican Party Animal, is his autobiography, in which he details his early career in Holocaust revisionism to his days of anonymously selling Holocaust documentaries to his “second life” as David Stein the GOP operative to his outing which, in some way, shape or form, has brought him to the Savage Hippie podcast, and will guarantee that he continues drinking.  I review his book as well!

Listen to the podcast to hear how you can win!

Hey, by the way, where the fuck WAS David?  You won’t find him on this episode!  Nooope, he just sorta went up in a puff of smoke like the drummer at the end of This Is Spinal Tap.  Thankfully he resurfaced the next day, and he and I recorded ANOTHER episode.

So, even though you don’t get David on this episode – and subsequently don’t get Ann on the NEXT one – you get TWO Savage Hippie episodes in about the same amount of days.  Happy?  You better be, asshole.

What’s really exciting is that Ann and I pretty much spend this entire episode answering questions.  In other words, the fans dictated the content.  We talk about Pizzagate; we give advice to young novelists; we compare Richard Spencer with Robert Spencer; I talk about my most nauseating sexual experience; and Ann reveals her eugenics and forced miscegenation agenda in thorough detail.

For the music lovers in da house, the song “T.F.U.M.” is by my friend Todd’s band Auslander, who take it back to the early 80s with some good ol’ fashioned Oi! punk.  You can listen to them at their bandcamp page.

The song at the end is “The Diet Has Failed” by Yesticles, and I had Vittoria Brooke Shaw do the art because it’s cute when women attempt to do things.

SavageHippie Episode 17 A – October Surprise! You Got Punked!

I was too lazy to write a caption for this week’s artwork, but I think it speaks for itself.  Not only is David surrounded by lovely ladies, one of whom is Ann, who decided to pose in a bikini because she understands that women get more attention when they’re wearing less, but my severed head is on a plate.  Of course, I still technically win this round since I had Clayton V put David’s likeness onto a Troma poster, bahahahahaha!!!

Anyway, if you thought this podcast  couldn’t get any more annoying, you’re dead wrong, bucko!  Well no, actually, we talk about how Julian Assange punked the Alt-Right, Trump supporters and shitlords of all type by claiming he had a “surprise” that would immediately end Clinton’s chances of becoming President.  What was the surprise?  A two hour long infomercial.  I was fortunate enough to complete miss said announcement, and even if I hadn’t, I’d have been a little suspicious of it being TWO FUCKING HOURS long.  I mean, if Assange had dirt on Clinton, I would assume he would have said, “and now for footage of Clinton plotting the Benghazi attack!”  I guess the trolls got trolled.

Then, after about 27 minutes of what could actually be called political discussion, in which we compare the Slavic immigration from a hundred years ago to the Latino one of today, we let the alcohol get the best of us, and the show devolves into the usual nonsense.  We discuss our sexual fetish for Guys and Dolls; I attempt to defend Penny Marshal, who I actually did find quite cute in her younger years; we make a bunch of tasteless Holocaust jokes;  we talk about how the liver is the strongest part of the body and could pretty much be used as a substitute for any organ; David goes on a rant about his poor book sales; I discuss the bands Warhorse and Captain Beyond in Rain Man-like detail as if anyone actualy gives a shit; and we introduce a NEW SEGMENT!!! It’s so exciting it warrants its own paragraph.

That’s right; the Savage Hippie Podcast has a new segment called “The Sounds of Marshabaloosh.”  What the fuck is Marshabaloosh?  It’s the evil deity that we made up a few podcasts ago that most certainly reminds you that your life and the universe has a guiding force… and it’s REALLY mean spirited and responsible for all of the pain in the world.  It’s also the name of our new musical promotion segment, where we play a song by a band to promote them.  This week’s song is “Know It All” by Chicago based punk-lite band, the Safes.

If you have a band you want to showcase, send us an MP3, and chances are we’ll play it, because we’re not very picky, and we have no taste.

As usual, the closing song is “The Diet Has Failed” by the Yesticles, and the artwork was done by master Photoshop auteur Clayton V.

SavageHippie Podcast Episode 7 -She Brings the Guilt, You Bring the Gelt

As Motörhead once sang, you win some, you lose some.  Well, this time it looks like I’ve won some, meaning that, after Lucy abandoned the show because it was “too sketch” for her taste, I managed to scoop up not one, but two wicked co-hosts.

Somehow I managed to finagle both David Cole/Stein, the Jewish Holocaust revisionist, former Friends of Abe party organizer, Takimag columnist, Republican Party Animal author and once again revisionist, and Ann Sterzinger, Girl Detectives, NVSQVAM (Nowhere) and The Talkative Corpse author, former Takimag editor and current Right-On editor, to be my regular co-hosts.

For two hours, we discuss Cole’s and Ann’s work, the Donald and why one would or wouldn’t vote for him (real original, huh?), the new Dinesh D’Souza documentary, Speilberg films – especially Schindler’s List and Amistad, Catholic guilt, mixed race women who pretend to be Hungarian, finally freeing Mumia (or any imprisoned black man for that matter) and probably one of the more controversial topics of our modern age: the Flemish/Walloon conflict.

At some point Cole and I almost get into fisticuffs over Troma films.  I like them, and he does not.

And, at the end, we try to find Ann a good Jewish husband.

I tried to alleviate Ann’s Catholic guilt with a pair of campy, Satanic, psychedelic rock songs from the late 60s/early 70s.  Not sure if it worked.

Opening song: “Black Sabbath” by Coven
Closing song: “Come to the Sabbat” by Black Widow

SavageHippie Podcast Episode 5 – David Cole: Zombi Holocaust Revisionist

In my most epic podcast yet,  I had the pleasure of interviewing David Cole (a.k.a. David Stein), one of the weekly columnists at Takimag.  For those who don’t know who Cole/Stein is, he was the “infamous” Jewish Holocaust revisionist, who posited the notion that maybe two of the six identified death camps (did YOU know that there were six?) might not have actually been death camps, but work camps.  Sure, people were killed in those camps, but his theory, based upon physical evidence, is that two of the camps weren’t designed for the explicit purpose of killing people.

For his curiosity, Cole was derided as an evil, self hating Jew, when he is actually none of those things.  In fact he’s a self-admitted, pro-Israel Zionist.  After six years of revisionism, Irv Rubin, the head of the Jewish Defense League put a $25,000 hit on his life.  Cole recanted (or pretended to recant) his views in order to stay alive and went underground for a few years, selling both mainstream and revisionist Holocaust videos.

Then, when a few of his mainstream videos started getting popular, he emerged like the mighty groundhog under the new name of David Stein and was given reigns over the Friends of Abe, a Hollywood Republican fraternity, that was started by Gary Sinise. He hosted parties and hobnobbed with the who’s who of Republican celebrities – Clint Eastwood, Ann Coulter, Greg Gutfeld, you name ’em – until that fateful evening when his awful, cold-blooded, red head ex-girlfriend did him in.  Thanks to a little invention called youtube, she exposed Cole/Stein’s dirty, little secret, and, within 24 hours, his life, as he knew it, was over.  Nearly every one of his employment opportunities as a writer had dried up (save for Takimag, of course), and he became persona nongrata among the so called “respectable” conservative outlets like National Review, who talk a good game about freedom of speech, only to fire, ostracize and attempt to destroy writers who don’t tow the line.

He documents of all of this in his informative and entertaining autobiography, Republican Party Animal – you can read my review here.

We spent two awesome hours talking about the who/what/why of Holocaust revisionism, the Friends of Abe, some of his former Republican party peeps, how he converted from neoconservative to Alternative Right and, of course, ZOMBIE FILMS – and no, not The Walking Dead.  At very least, skip to the very end for a life affirming message.

You might hear something pouring; it’s me pouring a rum and diet Dr. Pepper drink.  I had such a blast doing this interview.  Thanks David, and hopefully we’ll get to speak again!

Opening song: “Death or Glory” by Holocaust
Closing song : “The Usurper” by Celtic Frost
