The Savage Hippie Video Podcast Episode 2: Yes, David Talks About the F*@king Holocaust

Buuut, that’s not all! Somewhere inside of a FEMA camp, Edwin (me), David Cole, and the disembodied voice of Ann Sterzinger talk about a bunch of stuff including, but not limited to, my neato t-shirt, that has a pictured of Donald Trump’s head with a machete lodged into it, how hipsters won’t let a few car thefts, gang rapes, and fire bombings in Detroit beat their resolve to continue living in Detroit, our plan to distributed gloves and ski masks to gang bangers in Oakland, CA, and some other shit I forgot.

Savage Hippie Episode 53 – What Has Eight Legs and Goes Ho-Dee-Doh, Ho-Dee-Doh?

me_ann_david_charlottesville

We live in some pretty Orwellian times, don’t we? How long will the Savage Hippie podcast last in this censorious era, where once neutral hosting services are purging anything that they consider to be peddlers of “hate speech”?

In 2017, the shibboleths of “racism” and “white supremacy” have become the modern day version of the Satanic panic. Leftists have SUCH an ENORMOUS blind spot to the problem of Islam, that they will excuse some Muslim shouting “Allahu Akbar” and running down thirteen people in Barcelona as just a “perversion” of an otherwise completely peaceful religion, while think that some antisocial freak with a Hitler haircut running down ONE leftist protester, who happens to be the SAME RACE AS HIM, is somehow indicative that society has a problem with “white supremacy.”

It’s in this depressing climate that Ann Sterzinger, David Cole, and I continue our quest to spread healthy hate speech, promote funny racism, and just continue to belittle minorities, gays, women, and men who dress like women. In this episode of the Savage Hippie podcast, we talk about David’s recent Facebook ban, the prank calls we did as kids, Ronald Reagan’s tacky sense of humor, the white power Asian guy, Devo, Neil Hamburger, Gaspar Noe, Bjork, and some other shit I forgot.

For this week’s Sounds of Marshabaloosh, we feature the Biters with their song “1975” from their first album, Electric Blood. Just like with Giuda, the Biters are a band that Ann and I both like. In fact Ann is the one who introduced them to ME, if you can believe something as absurd as a woman introducing a guy to something he didn’t already know (that’s what she said). Strangely (to me at least), the Biters are signed to Earache, one of the earliest extreme metal labels, which released records by Napalm Death, Carcass, Cathedral, Godflesh, Brutal Truth, Morbid Angel, and Anal Cunt, even though their sound is straight up, glammy rock ‘n’ roll, that channels such influences as 70s Bowie, Queen, Kiss, Thin Lizzy, and Cheap Trick. Listen to “1975” here.

A wonderful lady friend and fan, who prefers not to be named, did the artwork, which we hope starts a trend of other people using the recent Charlottesville auto-modown photograph as a template for their absurd and offensive creations. The song at the end is, once again, “The Diet Has Failed” by the Yesticles.

The Savage Hippie Video Podcast Episode 1: Margaret MacLennan

David Cole and I host a video version of the Savage Hippie Podcast, featuring a special guest, Canada’s own Margaret MacLennan! Politics, culture, humor, and one host who wishes the other would die painfully.

The lovely Ann Sterzinger couldn’t be with us, but she made this thoughtful video about the events in Charlottesville, VA.

Savage Hippie Episode 52 – Lena Dunham Is Fat and Ugly

me_ann_david_lena

When God made Lena Dunham, who was he actually playing the joke on; Dunham, by making her fat and ugly, and thus not appealing to anybody at all, or to the public at large by putting her vile and unattractive visage in the spotlight?

Of course Dunham and her crusade to ruin the lives of a couple of people working lousy airline jobs is only one of the many topics that David Cole, Ann Sterzinger and I discuss in the latest episode of the Savage Hippie podcast. Others include fucking with Shia LaBeouf, Norman Mailer’s gambit to free Jack Abbott and the disastrous consequences (oo, this thars one o’ them in-tee-LECTUAL podcasts), how cops aren’t the ones to yell at for the prison industrial complex, the Jewish bros who posted videos of themselves torturing sea animals and ways I can get out of watching chocolate skin directress Ava D’Andre’s documentary 13th.

We also answered every question that was thrown at us on the night of the recording.

This week’s Sounds of Marshabaloosh features Dead Cross, the new band from cult icon Mike Patton, singer of Faith No More, Mr. Bungle, Fantomas and Tomahawk, with their song “Obedience School” from their self-titled debut LP. The group also consists Dave Lombardo from Slayer and Fantomas on drums, Michael Crain from Retox on guitar and Justin Pearson from the Locust, Head Wound City and Retox on bass. Expect a total, noisy, hardcore inspired spazz out. In other words, it’s awesome. Listen to it here.

David Cole did the Lena Dunham inspired artwork, and as usual, the closing song is “The Diet Has Failed” by the Yesticles.

Savage Hippie Episode 51 – Never Violate the NPAP (Non Passive Aggression Principle)

me_ann_david_npap

This is probably one of my favorite episodes we’ve done. I spent a lot of time editing down the original “recording session” to the brisk and fun podcast that you are about to listen to. The sound is (relatively) good; it moves along at a decent pace; and there’s a good balance of politics, comedy and personal anecdotes. David Cole, Ann Sterzinger and I discuss annoying anarcho-libertarian ideologues, Somali “refugees” in Fargo, Dr. Who now being a woman and, of course, (big sigh) the trannies.

Ann also proposes her plan to end socialism once and for all, and there’s plenty of racial slurs and belittling of women, minorities and the “differently abled” to keep the hipster racist entertained.

This week’s Sounds of Marshabaloosh segment features experimental sludge metal overlords, the Melvins, one of my favorite bands of all time. The song we feature is called “Euthanasia”, and it originally appeared on the 1990 Amphetamine Reptile records compilation album Dope-Guns-‘n-Fucking in the Streets Volume 4-7. The version we feature here is a new recording, appearing on their new album, A Walk with Love & Death. Listen to it here.

David did the NPAPish artwork, and the song at the end is “The Diet Has Failed” by the Yesticles.

Savage Hippie Episode 50 – A Two Hour Eulogy for George A. Romero

dawn_of_the_edwin

In this ultra-hyper, super special episode of the Savage Hippie podcast, David Cole and I eschew the boring politics to talk about the films of George A. Romero, the legendary film director, who passed away on July 16, 2017. Ann Sterzinger sat this one out ’cause, ya know, gurlz.

First we talk about all six of Romero’s “living dead” pictures. Then we leave a sliver of time in the last quarter of the episode to discuss the other films he did. The listener might be surprised to discover just how varied Romero’s films are. Aside from his genre-defining zombie films and other horror pictures, Romero attempted to make an experimental art film, two dramas and a weird, psychological character study. He’s also done a few stinkers, but what director hasn’t?

We also discuss other directors like David Cronenberg, Dario Argento, Alfred Hitchcock and Orson Welles, the often hotly debated “auteur theory” as it applies to Romero and David’s political video, in which he uses the Goblin song “Pie in the Face” to criticize the hypocrisy of the media.

For Sounds of Marshabaloosh, we violate all copyright laws by playing three songs by the Italian progressive group Goblin from the Dawn of the Dead soundtrack album. In case you’re wondering, Goblin also did the soundtrack for the Dario Argento films Deep Red, Suspiria and Phenomena, along with a number of other films.

And David did the masterful artwork.

Savage Hippie Episode 49 – More Fun Aboard Trump’s Flying Circus

me_ann_david_king_of_comedy

Sorry it’s taken so damn long to get episode 49 out. Part of the reason for the delay is that I’ve been moving around a lot and trying to get my footing in Los Angeles, and the other and more important reason is that Ann Sterzinger kept sounding like an alien broadcasting from inside of an echo tube flying through outer space, and we couldn’t figure out why. However, we switched our recording process, and whadaya know? Ann and David Cole both sound great, and now I sound like I’m inside of a garbage can.

Of course, you probably don’t care about that since you listen to the show for Ann and David and probably skip through the parts where I talk; but it is annoying considering that David and I are literally sitting next to each other and sharing a microphone.

Anyway, a lot has happened in the month that we’ve been away. Some of it is personal, such as the release of Ann’s new book, Disaster Fitness (buy, buy, buy!) and our friend and listener David McPheeters shooting someone in the back five times. Some of it is pop-cultural, such as this shitty rap metal band called Stray From the Path making an anti-AltRight video, which I actually wrote a piece about, and Shia LeBeouf getting arrested for drunken and disorderly conduct and his tirade against a couple of police officers. And some is political, such as CNN’s near implosion and Donald Trump Jr.’s emails.

We also talk about sex and poop.

The band featured in this week’s Sounds of Marshabaloosh is none other than Dream Machine, who not only are an awesome psychedelic heavy rock band, but were kicked off of their label for statements they made about illegal immigrants, feminism and political correctness. If you want more info on them, read my interview with guitarist/singer Matthew Melton. The Dream Machine song we feature is called “Buried Alive” and is from their album, The Illusion, which you can listen to here.

The artwork, which comes from The King of Comedy, was suggested by a fan and then handed over to another fan, who prefers not to be named, but did the awesome Photoshop artwork. Once again, the song at the end is “The Diet Has Failed” by the Yesticles.

Savage Hippie Episode 29 – California Uber Assholes

me_ann_david_la_1

Sorry it’s been a while since you’ve heard from the Savage Hippies. We did actually fly out to the land of sunshine to meet up with David Cole, but instead we ended up meeting militia leader Ronald David Cole… juuust kidding. That’s a teaser for one of David’s many hilarious anecdotes, in which a moron at one of the clickbait sites attempted to be a journalist and confused our loveable Holocaust revisionist with an imprisoned militia leader in Montana.

Anyway Ann and I flew out to Los Angeles, met up with David and plotted further world domination – which according to a prominent Alt-Righter is exactly what David is up to. In all unseriousness, if I were to put me, David and Ann Sterzinger into categories, I would call us Derbshire conservatives – skeptical of the cult of diversity, strongly against immigration at least from certain countries, pro-Western Christian values of hard work and self-sufficiency without necessarily being religious, being more metropolitan than part of flyover country – and while I WAS ready to call myself a metrocon, a term that Derb coined, I realize that I got a total boner when my Injun ex-girlfriend’s dad showed me the enormous arsenal he had stashed away in the underground compound in a dinky, quaint and primarily… ahem… Caucasian town, and I’ve got Midwestern naivety, which is why I’m always getting swindled by hooknosed street peddlers in the big city – and more concerned with fiscal, rather than social issues… anyway, where was I?

me_ann_david_la_5

During this episode, we completely eschew talking about black thugs who torture autistic white kids for much weightier topics like Rastafarians who rent U-Haul trucks out the back of hookah shops, the best way to get back at unrequited-lovers who screw you over and our new target group for marginalizing and “othering” – the differently abled.

On top of recording a podcast, we also recorded a video episode centered around a gift our longtime listener David McPheeters sent us. No, I’m not going to tell you what it is; you’re going to have to watch the video and look at my ugly, fat ass to find out what it is (I don’t actually show you my ass, which I’ve been told is one of my BEST, rather than worst, features).

Our sponsor is Aaron Clarey who does financial consulting at www.assholeconsulting.com and entertains with his blog and podcast at www.captaincapitalism.blogspot.com, along with writing many fine books, which you should read.

Our featured band on Sounds of Marshabaloosh is a personal favorite of mine, the sludge punk noise rock band Kilslug with their song “Zoom Zoom Zoom”, which you can listen to at https://myspace.com/kilslugofficial/music/song/zoom-zoom-zoom-91427886-101591832.

And the song at the end is “The Diet Has Failed” by the Yesticles.

SavageHippie Episode 28.75 –A Non – Episode Episode Featuring John Steele

edwin_and_ann_severed_heads

In about five hours, I’m going to jump on a plane headed to Los Angeles. In the meantime, I leave you this thrown together recording which hardly qualifies as an episode. In case you were wondering, like four or five months ago, John Steele interviewed me and Ann for his channel to clarify our positions on sex, romance, the libertine lifestyle and some other shit. Then he forgot about it or lost interest, and said, “eh, I have this lying around. Do you want it?” So, I of course chopped it up and put in a bunch music and sounds and made it nearly unlistenable.

Then I had Vittoria do the art of my and Ann’s head impaled on spikes because why not have heads impaled on spikes? The song at end is “The Diet Has Failed” by the Yesticles.
