Well, it’s back… sorta. The “disgraced” Edwin Oslan is joined by brand new co-host Rachel Cohen-Bourne, a liberal who doesn’t have Trump Derangement Syndrome, to discuss a variety of topics, including the recent Louis C.K.’s Parkland massacre jokes, how political correctness is killing comedy, the ever so relevant James Gunn debacle, the Trump government shutdown, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s latest dance video. I also very briefly talk about what REALLY happened to the previous Savage Hippie podcast, and we DO get visited by a ghost of Savage Hippie past (what do you expect? We’re roommates after all!).
Look, Savage Hippie is MY podcast. Just like Motörhead is (well, was) Lemmy’s band, Black Sabbath is Tony Iommi’s band, the Fall is (well, was) Mark E. Smith’s band, and Hawkwind is Dave Brock’s band. We’re giving you free entertainment, so if you miss the other hosts, go and listen to their shit.
For Sounds of Marshabaloosh (yes, I’m keeping the name even though Ann came up with it), we feature Disastroid. Last year, one of their members sent me the entire album to listen to and review. I never did, sorry. So, instead, we talk about ’em and play one of their songs on our show. The song is “I Didn’t Kill Myself” from their latest album, Screen. If you enjoy fuzzed out stoner rock, give ’em a listen. Some guy even called ’em the best band in San Francisco.
Sorry for the shitty art. I had to throw something together really quick.
And, as per usual, the music at the end is “The Diet Has Failed” by the Yesticles.
Watch it on youtube!
Glad to see you have released another episode of this podcast! Glad that you uploaded it to Soundcloud first. Youtube sucks, not just the because of the deplatforming, or because it is a horrible monopoly, but also because you can listen to audio podcasts while doing other things, like working, driving, or walking. Youtube is for rich people, children, and unemployed, basement-dwelling fatasses. I hope you keep on releasing episodes, and that your new co-host stays on. I hate going to liberal sites to hear the other side. Enjoyed the episode. Hopefully you can answer some questions next time.

Thanks so much for the support! I really appreciate it. We just recorded a brand new one, we’re doing another new one on Saturday, and we’re going to stick to the audio format. Also, since I don’t have to ask permission to have guests on, we’re going to have a wider variety of guests, including someone who you might actually know. Yeah, we’ll definitely do the question thing! Once again, thanks for the support!
